Ryan

Founder of the original Canyon Creek, Ryan has been shaping the sound of the band since day one.

Living in different areas of the country through the years, including Chicago, Seattle, Kansas City and Dallas.  Many influences have had an influence on his vocal style and songwriting.   They include  Waylon Jennings, James Taylor and Henley & Frey; to name a few.

Arriving in Colorado in 2000, he began playing music around Denver, and with Johnnie, founded Canyon Creek.

His songs are described as Americana, drawing on Country, Rock and Folk.  He’s written and will be recording a cd.
Original songs include “DrinkinAlone” “Maria”, “Whatcha Gonna Do” and “I Can’t go Back to Alabama”.
